Christmas PJs from Grandma and Grandpa Smith
I cannot believe that Christmas has come and gone. It is 9:00pm and we are home from visiting family and Noah is in bed...time to breath a little! What a great day! I always get a little sad when Christmas night rolls around. Noah had such a great time opening presents and hanging out with cousins. He got really spoiled from Santa and the Grandparents...very lucky boy! Here are a few pictures from the last 2 days....ps...I got a new camera so I can finally take new pics!!! Thanks Santa!!

I LOVE TO SEE THE TEMPLE.....

Last night we took Noah to see the lights at Temple Square for the first time. He loved it! It was a pretty warm night, which was nice. He loved the big trees covered in lights the best of all! (well...the water falls were actually the biggest hit!) Everything looked beautiful...I love the temple grounds, especially at Christmas, it has such a peaceful feeling that you always want to keep with you! We are very lucky to live in such a great place.

SNOW DAY!!!

FINALLY SNOW! Noah was so excited! He looked out the window all morning really wanting to play. I felt like the worst mom getting him ready for "church" (my niece was baptized!). Because of the busy day, he didn't get to play...however, yesterday after church, I bundled him up in his new snowsuit...think the little boy on Christmas Story...and he finally got to jump in! He had fun for just a minute but his boots were too small and hurt his feet so he had to come in. He was so bummed but I promised we would try again today! (I will post pictures later today...he looked so cute!)

GIVING THANKS!

I love the holidays! Having family around and just the feeling of love and appreciation that is in the air! This year we had Thanksgiving dinner with the Johnson family at my house. We had such a good time and their was so much food and craziness! I loved it! I am so blessed to be a part of 2 such wonderful families!

Sea World

Noah loved all of the animals we saw at Sea World. He was amazed with the Shamu(or Shampoo as Noah would say) show. It was so fun to watch his face everytime the huge animals would jump out of the water.
Is Disneyworld really the happiest place on earth? Sometimes you gotta wonder!

We LOVE Mickey Mouse at our house and Noah was so excited to finally meet him!!

"Mom, can we live here?"

Back in October we took Noah to Disney World! He absolutely loved every minute of it. He still tells me everyday of flying on the huge airplane and seeing Mickey, Minny, Donald, Goofy, and Pluto, but he didn't see Daisy. He rode every ride he was allowed and really didn't want to leave! (he must get that from mom!) We spoiled the boy and went to Animal Kingdom, Seaworld and MGM. He loved the animals and every time we read a book that has any of the animals he saw, he says..."mommy, that is the dolphin I saw!" It is funny what they remember! We had such a good time.

Noah!

Okay, I know that every parent says they have the cutest child...well, I am no different! Noah is getting so big and everything is "No, let me do it!" which drives me crazy most of the time because sometimes he takes forever to do things - due to ADHD given to him from his mother! He is potty training and doing very well! I have been so proud of him for catching on so fast. (lucky mom!) He is so much fun!

The Pizza Shop...Ben's Home Away from Home

About 4 years ago Ben decided to take the jump and open his own business and what would be better than having your own pizza shop?? With a lot of sweat and hard work the doors opened at his first store in Magna Utah. 5Buck Pizza was Ben's new way of life! Since the opening of his first store he has opened 2 other pizza shops and a hamburger stand called the Grub Box. Phew....he is one busy guy! With the help of his dad...they are able to keep all of these places runnin! I am very proud of him and Noah loves to go make pizza with dad everyday!

Us in a nutshell

To begin this blog I will tell you a little about our life for the last seven years. Ben and I met at work...fell madly in love and married a year and a half later. We spent the next 5 years traveling all over the world, Switzerland, Italy, France, England, and all over the USA. We were having a great time but decided that we were missing something, and that is where Noah came in. He was born January 24, 2005! Having him was more exciting than any place we ever traveled. He is such a joy to us! He is now 2 1/2 and acts every bit his age. He keeps mom very busy all day long! That is us in a nutshell!
