Cameron's Blessing Day

What a special day! Sunday, July 27, 2008 we blessed Cameron. It was such a beautiful day with our families around. Ben did a wonderful job and gave Cameron a beautiful blessing. I am so grateful for the Gospel and the power of the priesthood in our lives! I am so blessed with such wonderful people around me! Thank you everyone that came and shared this day with us!! Love you all!!

Crab Cooker Anyone??

Have you ever wanted something so bad you could just taste it?? It is pretty pathetic that I am having this feeling for a resturant! Granted, I am not quite sure if it is the resturant or the fact that the resturant is in New Port!!! I would love a vacation and New Port/Orange County area is one of my favorite places to go! When Ben worked for Delta, we would pack up a day bag and fly out for the day. We would rent a car, drive around, play at the beach, and of course eat at the Crab Cooker...yum! I miss the days of free flights!

Coach Noah

Love this picture...even though Cameron is making a silly face!
Yesterday Noah and I were outside playing a little basketball when Noah realized that mom really isn't that great at making shots. He got the ball after a missed shot by me and said in such a serious manner, "mom, you just need to keep practicing." Then he shot the ball and made it and said, "see mom, that is how you do it"! I almost died laughing. It is amazing what they come up with!!!

I thought this may be fun!!!

1. Add a comment of a memory you have of the two of us together. It doesn't matter if you know me very well or just a little, it can be anything. It can be a recent memory or from way back. Once you leave a comment I will assume you are playing too.
2. Add these instructions to you own post and wait for the memories to start rolling in.

4th of July Fireworks, Parade, Meeting Grandma Sink, and Going Fishing! Boy Have We Been Busy!

We Love Grandma Sink!

Fishing with Dad
It has been a busy couple of weeks here at the Johnson house! My cute Grandma came into town and met Cameron for the first time. I love her so much and she is always so happy to meet a new great grand baby!!! I have always loved the 4th of July. The patriotic songs, a feeling of pride for the USA and those who fight and have fought for our country...it is a great feeling. I also love the parades and the fireworks...can't forget the fun!! Each year since I have been married we have stood in 100 degree weather to watch the Magna Parade (which happens right in the afternoon for some silly reason!) Noah loves it! He gets to hang out with all his Johnson cousins, catch candy and get sprayed by water...what more could you ask for! This year we went to see fireworks with Chris, Dan, and Amy. I was really suprised that Cameron just sat on my lap and watched...I was afraid that the loud noise would bother him. Then, on Saturday up to the mountains we went. We had a great weekend of riding 4-wheelers, roasting dogs on the fire and Noah had his first fishing adventure! He loved it so we may be picking up a new hobby in our home! Summertime is great...I just wish it wasn't so blazing hot!!!
