AHHHH July....

All of my brother's and sister's and kids got together and went swimming at the Roy pool. It is such a fun place and all of the cousins had a great time...okay..so did the adults!!

I love the month of July! Swimming, BBQ's, Parades and Fireworks...and the feeling of American Pride where ever you turn. I am always a little sad when it is over. (except for the fact that it brings us 1 month closer to fall!!) Enjoy the pics!

We go up to Eaglewood Golf Course every year for fireworks! It is an all day event...we just claim our spot and hang out in the blazing hot sun until dark. The fireworks are awesome and it is always fun to watch they sky divers land right in front of us!

Cameron Turns 2

Cam's 2nd birthday was May 19th...I know...I am a little far behind! I can't believe my baby boy is 2. He is such a great kid...always wanting to do what his older brother is doing. I love watching them together. Cameron has started throwing tantrums. It stinks because he has always been such a mellow kid that it is weird when he gets all high strung!! I am hoping the phase lasts only a short while and my cute little guy comes back to us!! We had 2 parties...one with the Johnson's and one with the Smith's. The poor little guy didn't feel very good but he still loved the cakes and the presents!!

Oh Noah....

Last nigh Noah so badly wanted to have dinner on the back porch. He told me he wanted to eat out there so we could "pass" things to each other when we needed it. He cracks me up! So, we pulled out our table and set dinner up outside. It was a really nice night and we had a good time. Noah ran in to the restroom and came back out to the table and started laughing...and proceeded to let Ben and me know that he locked the back door! NOT A GOOD THING! Our back porch has no way to our back yard and we are fairly high off the ground..high enough that it scared me to think of jumping!! So after sometime trying to pry open the windows we were able to get in and I was able to calmly explain to my jokester of a son that we DON'T LOCK THE DOORS!!!

Playin a Little Catch Up...Again!

April 15 is such a special day for me for a couple reasons, 1st...it is my Mom's birthday. It is a day that we get to take her flowers and remember what a wonderful woman she is. 2nd..it is the day that I went through the temple 10 years ago with 2 of my best friends! I have been friends with April and Kristen ever since high school, we have been through a lot together! We have always talked about making it to the temple each year on April 15th but have not made it until this year! It was so nice to be there with them and to feel the spirit so strongly! Thank you Heather for watching my kiddos for me that night...you made it possible for me to make it!! I love you! Thank you girls for always being there for me...thank you for all of the great..and not so great memories...thank you for being you! I love you both.

2 Wheeler Baby!!!

So, the other day we were at my sister Shelby's house when she asked how long Noah had been riding a 2wheeler without training wheels...I said that he still had his training wheels on and his bike had been "out of commission" since last summer. She started to laugh and said.."Well, he is out there riding Jaxyn and Abby's bikes and they don't have training wheels!" I jumped off the couch and had to check it out...sure enough...my little guy figured it out! All by himself!! I am a proud mama!!

Finally...back online!

So as I sat down to update this forgotten blog..my oldest woke up with a night terror. I hate when he has those things. Now that he is tucked back into bed...I attempt to jot down all that have happened this past month and a half!! So, sit back...grab a bucket of popcorn and be ready for a very large post!!

First off, we moved from our home in West Valley. We really enjoyed it out there and loved our home but felt it was time for a change. We are now in Kaysville. We have only been here a couple of weeks but really like the neighborhood and the area! Noah has already made some friends that he can run around with! I love that!

Noah just graduated preschool. I picked him up today from his last day ever at Mrs. Katie's. She has been so amazing with him and I am thankful for everything she has done. Noah loves Katie and her husband Dan and enjoyed each day he had preschool. Thank you guys for all that you did for Noah the last 2 years! I started to cry as we walked back to the car...I believe it is because leaving Mrs Katie's Preschool means my baby is now a big boy. We have had so much change in the past couple months...it is sad to see this change also!

Cam's is talking a lot more these days! It is true that most of what he says is only understood by Mom, Dad and Noah! He is very independent and wants to do everything that Noah does...and gets angry with mom when I don't let him because he is still my baby! He turns 2 tomorrow! Most of the time I feel that he should be older than that...but I sure am glad he is not!

Elliott...well...lets just say she has gotten big! She is now 7 months and so much fun! She has such a big beautiful smile and a mohawk that would make a rockstar jealous!!

We are excited for this new beginning in our lives and we are grateful to our friends and family and their support!!
