Crazy Bird

i just got done watching the fireworks from my back porch, the same fireworks that i told my kiddos we would watch together. i attempted to take them to the bountiful carnival after the parade, we got as far as the park and my 3 year old disapeared into the sea of people. my heart stopped and i was in full panic mode. after searching for 20 minutes, i found him with a cute lady who said that he was giving her my phone number so she could call me. i scooped that boy up and after i stopped crying, thanked her and walked away. (letting her think my 3yr old was a genious...because the number he gave her was not mine!!)

what would i have done if i lost my baby?? my heart aches for those moms who are not as lucky as i was tonight. i thank cameron's angel for being close by and letting him find a mommy who was willing to help him find his mommy! as crazy as my days may be...i love my little ones more than anything in this world. and i am thankful they are all home safe with me tonight!

My Cute Birthday Boy!!

Happy Birthday to my sweet Cameron! I can't believe he is finally 3! I know that a lot of my family memebers will say that it felt like he was 2 FOREVER! I am not sure why that is! This boy is full of personality! He is a bit on the crazy side but is also my best cuddler! I love him so much!! Happy birthday big boy...I hope you had a great day!

Happy Easter.

I love this time of year! We had a great time dying eggs and hunting for treats! However...these cute crazy kids would not let their mom get a picture of them in all their Easter Sunday glory! Just take my word...they looked adorable though the pictures below don't do them justice!
I am so grateful my Savior and for the blessings he has made possible in my life!

Finally!!!

We have completely taken advantage of the warmer the last couple of days. My kids have been in heaven at the park or just running around outside with the neighbors. Elliott throws tantrums when I pick her up to go inside! We are so grateful for the sunshine!!

We hope everyone had a great holiday! Ours was filled with family, fun, food, and lots of laughs and cries!! We look forward to a new year filled with the unknown!!

Giving Thanks

I don't have 1 picture from Thanksgiving day. I am terrible I know! We had a great time with the Smith side at my house. We ate great food and had good conversation. The kiddos ran around like crazy just loving being together. I am grateful for this time of year!!

As I sat in church today a nice old couple in front of me introduced themselves to me. I had Elliott on my lap and Ben was in the nursery with Cam. They asked me a few questions about where we came from and what we did for work etc. The cute old man said with tears in his eyes to enjoy every day with your family, enjoy those kids, and love your husband now just like you loved him on your honeymoon. I watched this couple sit hand in hand all through sacrament and could just feel the love they have for each other after 60 years together. I also thought of all the stresses and craziness we have everyday and I realized how much I miss just because I don't take the time to enjoy each moment!! I love my family so much and I want to be able to sit at church after being with Ben for 60 years and love him more then as I do now!! I am a very lucky girl.
