Where Do They Come Up With This Stuff???

Just a funny story, about a week ago I was trying to get Noah to go to bed. After the 100th time putting him back in his room and threatening his little life if he were to get out again(not really but I am sure mom's know how I feel!!) anyway, not a minute later he is running to my room telling me he has to go to the bathroom really bad! So, I tell him...you had better make it quick. As I sit there in the bathroom with him...trying to keep a stern face(because I am not playing around!) Noah is smiling at me and making funny faces...well, when he finds that it is not working and mom still has a frown...he gets a frown on his face and sings "if you chance to meet a frown, do not let it stay"....THE WHOLE SONG! I was still trying to keep my composure of the "i am not playing around kid" until I hear Ben on the bed dying laughing...it was all over! I couldn't help but laugh! Seriously, they just know how to get ya! What a stinker! (gotta love him!)

Ok, so this is what we had to resort to with Reese having this same problem. We made a "bedtime chart". It was a grid of sorts with 14 boxes. Each night we told her if she didn't get out of bed, then the next morning she got to put a sticker in one of the boxes. When she filled up all the boxes, we went to Toys-R-Us and she got to buy a toy. Bribery ALWAYS works!!! After she got the toy, we reminded her every night that she was such a big girl that she learned how to stay in bed, that she didn't need the chart anymore. (then just threaten to take away the new toy if he gets out of bed!!) Anyway, it worked for us...Good luck!

That's almost better than him not being able to stay in his room because of his stinky farty pants. He makes me laugh. He is such a boy! Aim
